Comments: Known from the lower Congo rapids, including the Kinsuka rapids at the exit of Pool Malebo (Ref. 42520). Presence in the Aruwimi questionable (Ref. 106290). Also known from the Wagenia Falls (Ref. 106245): paratype MRAC 2219 collected at Stanley Falls, not Stanley Pool as given in Ref. 42520, based on MRAC collection data (field numbers and collection dates)(T. Musschoot, pers. comm.). Probably absent from Pool Malebo: Ref. 42520 states that "specimens labeled as "Stanley Pool" and "Upper Congo" possibly collected in/near the rapids at the exit of Pool Malebo", but see above for Stanley Pool paratype (T. Musschoot, pers. comm.).
