Recorded from the marine lower Congo (Matadi), lower Congo, Pool Malebo (=Stanley Pool), middle Congo mainstream, (lower) Lukenie, Kasai, Sankuru, Ubangi, Uele, Mongala (Ref. 82238), Itimbiri (Ref. 82238, 106290), Lomami, Wagenia Falls (Ref. 106245), Lualaba (Ref. 82238, 106245), and upper Lualaba (Ref. 82238). Also mentioned from near Tshela (Chiloango basin) (Ref. 82238) (identification confirmed by E. Vreven, Royal Museum for Central Africa, 12/2011). Also Ref. 3202.
