Distribution:  South America: Boliva and Brazil.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Found in littoral zones with water depths of 5 and 40 cm. Lives in clear waters, thick layer of dead leaves on the bank sides or among aquatic or submerged terrestrial vegetation (Ref. 129299).
