Environment:  bathypelagic; marine; depth range 90 - 198 m
Distribution:  Pacific Ocean: Taiwan, Korea, Japan, and the Hawaiian Islands.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Benthopelagic or near crevices and caves (Ref. 58302).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 22 December 2019 Ref. (130435)
