Distribution:  Southwest Atlantic: Argentina.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 108-108; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 99-99; Vertebrae: 121-121. Pelvic fins small. Body brownish dorsally, paler ventrally with five triangular blotches on each side of body. Dorsal fin brownish and anal fin pale brown. Pectoral and pelvic fins yellowish white (Ref. 27363).
