Comments: Main spawning period coincides with the onset of the rains. Large numbers of gravid individuals were found in the deeper cooler areas of the rocky lake beds. No ripe individuals were found along any of the two estuaries present in the study area (Ref. 35297). Average condition factors (Lake Albert; length range in cm, average weigth in g): 1.0 (80-85; 5600), 0.97 (85-90; 6500), 1.04 (90-95; 8200), 1.05 (95-100; 9600), 0.98 (100-105; 10500), 1.16 (105-110; 15000).
