การเขียนคำอธิบาย Situated at the southern end of Luzon Island, and is interrupted by two narrow peninsulas that jut out from the northern coast. The Pasig River, which flows through nearby Manila on its way to Manila Bay, is the lake’s main outlet. The crescent-shaped Lake Bay is the largest lake in the Philippines. Lake Bay is dotted by a number of tiny islands, including the densely populated Talim Island. Several important market towns, including Santa Cruz, Calamba, and Binãn, line the lake’s south coast. Fishing plays a major role in the region’s economy. In an earlier geological period Lake Bay was probably an extension of Manila Bay, which lies to the west. The lake’s name means "lake of the bay" in Spanish. © & (p) 1995-1999 Microsoft Corporation. © 1988-1999 Microsoft and/or its suppliers. All rights reserved.
