Occurs in the streams on the summit of the Bolovens Plateau in the Sekong watershed of the lower Mekong basin. Known from two of the largest streams on the plateau, the upper Xe Nam Noi and the upper Xe Pian (absent from lower reaches). These two river systems are isolated from their lower reaches by high waterfalls (Ref. 35912). Also Ref. 36949., 43281, 56905. |
