Occurs in the Kuma, Terek, Sulak, Shuraozen' (falling into the Caspian Sea south of the Sulak) (Ref. 1441). This species dispersed into the Chograi Reservoir in the Don basin due to the Kuma-Manych Canal (Ref. 26334).
