This species is a common catch of the industrial and artisanal fisheries of the Central Eastern Atlantic, probably occurring in northern Namibia (Ref. 36731). Caught in bottom trawls, with longlines and hook-and-line (Ref. 36731). Also Ref. 5578, 11228, 27121, 54854.
