Abundance: common (usually seen) 
Comments: Occurs along the coast (Ref. 4925). In range Ref. 2850. Found in shallow water during the summer and to a depth of 73 m during winter. Has been taken from a depth of 128 m in La PĂ©rouse Bank. Sold mostly to local Chinese during the winter season (Ref. 4925). Recorded from Howe Sound (Ref. 91783) and Ross Islets, Barkley Sound. Also Ref. 78809.
