Description of culture system |
The floating cages used were made of 20 mm mesh polyethylene netting, measured 2 x 2 x 1 m each and suspended from bamboo rafts. |

Fine rice bran made of 12% crude protein was given as feed in feeding trays (2 x 1 x 0.5 m) suspended in the cages. Feeding rate is 5% fish body wt/day, 2x/day, 6 days a week and adjusted every 2 weeks. |
