Known from large Nilo-Sudanese basins, i.e. Nile, Chad, Niger, Gambia, Senegal and Volta. Also collected in several coastal basins, i.e. Sassandra, Bandama, Comoé, Tano, Pra, Ouémé, Ogun, up to the Sanaga which seems to represent its southern distribution |
