شعاع نرم باله پشتي (کل) : 9 - 10; خارهاي باله مخرجي: 0; شعاع نرم باله مخرجي: 10. A row of 9-10 short conical tubercles in front of dorsal fin. Slate blue dorsolaterally, with round black spots (Ref. 6651).

Specimens usually collected by bottom trawlers at 200 to 800 m depth; longlines between 40 to 100 m depth (Ref. 59152).
