Comments: Known from Murchison River, W. Australia to vicinity of Newcastle, N. S. W. widely distributed through central Australia, south to the Finke River drainage, (incl. N. Terr. And Qld.) (Ref. 7300). Known from Burdekin River (Ref. 40171). Recorded from most coastal drainages north of the Greenough river (WA) across the Top End and southwards to th Hunter river (NSW), and Murray-Darling system north of Condobolin (NSW). Also found in the Lake Eyre/ Bulloo-Bancannia drainage system (Ref. 44894). Also Ref. 84364.
