Brown-edged pale stripe extending posteriorly from the lower part of eye to edge or preopercle. Pectoral fins extending beyond origin of anal fin. Many interconnected whitish blotches on body. Body with many interconnected whitish blotches. Snout, 5.4 - 5.75 in head. Caudal peduncle depth 3.2-3.6 in head; length 4.35-5.5 in head.
Inhabits coral reef. Benthic (Ref. 75154). Cryptic (Ref 90102).
