Comments: Present in the rivers Kienke/Kribi, Lobi (Ref. 248, 78218, 81644), Nyong (Ref. 81644) and Ntem (Ref. 248, 27896, 78218, 81644). Reports from the Dja (middle Congo basin) and Sanaga (Ref. 51193) not confirmed by Ref. 248 or 78218. Ref. 81644 considers the species as a Lower Guinea endemic, but the distribution map has a single dot in the Dja basin.
