Comments: Type locality, Bajan-gol, Quaidam, ZIN 7219 (holotype of Triplophysa chondrostoma) (Ref. 57754). Recorded from Nomhou and Xiangride rivers, Qaidam basin in Qinghai Province (Ref. 33800). Known from Nuomuhong River and Xiangerde River of Qinghai Province(Ref.33800). Also Ref. 45679.
