Raggi dorsali molli (totale) : 353; Raggi anali molli: 316 - 315; Vertebre: 120. Distinguished from its congeners by its bicolored pigmentation, dorsal origin approximately one eye-diameter behind gill opening and the low vertebral count [total 120 (118+, incomplete, tail regenerated), predorsal 12, preanal 35, precaudal 54] (Ref. 106145).
