Comments: Type locality, Jakarta, RMNH 35540 (ex RMNH 6140) (neotype of Equula gerreoides, 8.4 cm SL) (Ref. 74926). Known from southwest Sumatra to Timor Sea; Museum: BMNH 1984.1.1.67 (TGT (PJPW)735) (Ref. 5978); including Irian Jaya Jakarta, and Borneo (Ref. 74926). Also Ref. 7050, 127228.
