Comments: Type locality: Barranca de Venados, .5 km below Puente Venado, Río de Metztitlán, state of Hidalgo. South of the Río Pánuco in five coastal rivers Tuxpan, Cazones, Tecolutla, Nautla and Misantla rivers) of the eastern stretch of the Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt (TMB) at 20°N (Ref. 80389).
