Comments: Type locality, Quang Ninh Province, Hai Ninh District, forest creek near Khay Rau village, 10 km on road from bac Phong Sinh to Mong Cai, ZRC 50942 (holotype of Araiocypris batodes, 3.32 cm SL, male) (Ref. 75046).
