Biology     Glossary (e.g. epibenthic)

Freshwater. The Iyidere River, Turkey is 5 m above sea level. Ammocoetes are found in a mixture of coarse sand and organic detritus near the river banks overgrown by riparian vegetation. Adults nonparasitic. Spawning was observed over a rocky substrate on 20 April (2011, year of publication of this reference?) at 200 m upstream of the mouth of the Iyidere River, Turkey. The water depth was 0.3 m and the stream width was 1.5 m (Ref. 89241).

Estimates based on models

Phylogenetic diversity index (Ref. 82804):  PD50 = 0.5002   [Uniqueness, from 0.5 = low to 2.0 = high].
Bayesian length-weight: a=0.00126 (0.00056 - 0.00284), b=2.99 (2.80 - 3.18), in cm Total Length, based on LWR estimates for this (Sub)family-body shape (Ref. 93245).
Trophic level (Ref. 69278):  3.6   ±0.5 se; based on size and trophs of closest relatives
Resilience (Ref. 120179):  Low, minimum population doubling time 4.5 - 14 years (Semelparous species, assuming tm (= tmax) > 4).
Fishing Vulnerability (Ref. 59153):  Low vulnerability (10 of 100).
