Comments: Known from the central Anatolian lake watersheds. Also Ref. 106151. Threatened due to habitat loss, eutrophication/pollution, construction of weirs/dams in rivers, water abstraction and aquaculture/ introduction/Lessepsian immigration. Proposed for Annex II of the EU Habitats Directive (Ref. 58342). Also Ref. 27139. Status of threat: Critically Endangered (Ref. 58342). "nEurTurk."
