Remarks: Infestation commonly occurs in the intestine, visceral surfaces, swimbladder, body cavity, stomach, liver and muscle. Besides 1972 (Bashirullah), the infestation also occurred in 1973 (Bashirullah) in Dhaka and/or Sylhet, 1974 (Anon.) in Chittagong, 1993 (Chandra and Banerjee) in Dhaka and in 1981 (Ahmed) and 1997 (Ahmed and Ezaz) but without any specific locality cited.
