Remarks Demersal species (Refs. 26967, 26968). Occurs in great shoals. Moves to the surface at night (Ref. 58534). Quite commonly cast ashore (Ref. 51160), in the continental shelf (Ref. 121933). Also found in an estuary (Ref. 121935). Collected by commercial bottom trawl (Ref. 115481).
