Remarks Inhabits silty, sandy, and rocky pools and runs, sometimes riffles, of creeks and small to medium rivers. Tolerates siltation and high turbidity (Ref. 5723). Feeds on terrestrial and aquatic insects, and algae (Ref. 10294).
