Remarks | A schooling species occurring in coastal waters, but perhaps able to tolerate lowered salinities (e.g. mouth of Indragiri River, Indonesia). Eggs are common in brackish waters and mangroves with salinity range of 25-33.5 ppt and the larvae and early juveniles occur even in salinity as low as 33.5 ppt. |
