Collected together with Astyanax bimaculatus (Linnaeus), Callichthys callichthys (Linnaeus), Geophagus brasiliensis (Quoy & Gaimard), Rhamdia quelen (Quoy & Gaimard) and Poecilia reticulata Peters (Ref. 94155).
