Ecology of Hemibrycon guejarensis

Remarks Collected along shore over sandy substrates in tributaries with flow, water is tea colored. The pH usually around neutral (7.0-7.5), dissolved oxygen and percent saturation of oxygen vaues were high. This species is syntopic with Astyanax n. sp. (bimaculatus group), Bryconamericus macarenae, Creagrutus maculosus, Characidium cf. zebra and Hemigrammus barrigonae (Ref. 128867).
