Family:  Adrianichthyidae (Ricefishes), subfamily: Adrianichthyinae
Max. size:  8.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  pelagic; freshwater; pH range: 7.5 - 8.5
Distribution:  Asia: Indonesia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-10; Anal soft rays: 20-22. Distinguished from all other members of the family by the combination of the following characters: jaws subequal, 20-22 anal fin rays, eye diameter about equal to snout length, 33-35% HL, 58-65 scales in lateral row, 8-10 branched dorsal rays (Ref. 26747).
Biology:  The eggs are carried between the pelvic fins with each egg attached to the body by 10-20 filaments (Ref. 7050).
