Max. size:  12.5 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Jinshajiang River basin, China.
Diagnosis:  Anal soft rays: 8-10; Vertebrae: 43-44. Fewer anal rays (8-10) and exterior gill rakers on first gill arch (7-9); small number of lateral lines scales; terminal mouth; color pattern consisting of a blackish longitudinal stripe along the middle of body and usually with dark dots on, above or below the stripe.
Biology:  Inhabits creeks or small pools formed by flood.
