Max. size:  150 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater; brackish; marine, catadromous
Distribution:  Western Pacific: Indonesia to the Philippines and New Guinea. Reported from Western and American Samoa (Ref. 592).
Diagnosis:  Vertebrae: 100-106. Distance between verticals through anus and dorsal-fin origin 11-15% of total length.
Biology:  Probably caught locally but separate statistics not available (Ref. 9828).
IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient (DD); Date assessed: 08 November 2018 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
