Family:  Nothobranchiidae (African rivulines)
Max. size:  4 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; pH range: 6 - 7; dH range: 5 - 12, non-migratory
Distribution:  Africa: Sanaga, Nyong, Lobo, upper Ivindo, Dja, BoumbĂ© and Boumba in Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon and Congo; possibly also in the Central African Republic (Ref. 47461).
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in swamps, swampy parts of brooks and small streams under forest cover on the inland plains rainforest (Ref. 3788). Not a seasonal killifish (Ref. 27139).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 16 February 2009 Ref. (130435)
Threat to humans:  harmless
