Max. size:  7.8 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Africa: Endemic to Chisumulu Island, Lake Malawi.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Regularly found over pure rocky habitats, but forages over sand. Feeds on sand-dwelling invertebrates (Ref. 5595).
