Diagnosis: |
Dorsal soft rays (total): 70-72; Anal soft rays: 61-61; Vertebrae: 44-45. This species differs from its congeners by the following characters: 70-72 dorsal-fin rays; 61 anal-fin rays; 19-20 pectoral-fin rays; 11 precaudal vertebrae; origin of anal fin below dorsal fin ray 12-13; absence of pseudobranchial filaments; lower part of preopercle with 3-4 spines (Ref. 83559). |
