Distribution:  Asia: Lake Buir, Onon and Kherlen drainages in Mongolia; Amur and Yangtze drainages.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 20-21. Lateral line in the middle of the body, straight. Greenish gray in the back and silver white in the stomach. Anal, pectoral, and pelvic fins are orange colored (Ref. 33303).
