Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater; depth range 10 - 100 m
Distribution:  Europe: Lake Thun, Switzerland.
Diagnosis:  It is a medium-sized whitefish with moderate pigmentation on its fins and body. The flanks above the lateral line are dark greenish-blue, with moderate to numerous small pigmented dots on the scales. It has a pointed snout tip, a long head, small eyes set in thick, triangular-shaped sockets, and numerous moderately long gill rakers.
