| Biology: | Adults inhabit open areas of lakes and quiet stream pools. Young are usually found in schools near vegetation. 16 cm max TL (Ref. 5723). Migratory behaviour is undetermined (Ref. 126106). Not a seasonal killifish. Is very difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139). | |||
