Family:  Cyprinidae (Minnows or carps), subfamily: Labeoninae
Max. size:  5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  benthopelagic; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: central Thailand (Ref. 12693). Reported from Maeklong, Chao Phraya, Mekong and Peninsular Thailand river systems (Ref. 26336).
Diagnosis:  With 20 gill rakers on lower arm of arch.
Biology:  Like other species of Garra, it probably occurs in fast water over rocky or gravel substrates. Little is known about this species. Known only from juveniles of 5 cm length.
