| Biology: | Occurs in off-shore areas with a mud bottom (Ref. 4983). The specimens which were examined contained large quantities of blue-green algae and diatoms and smaller amounts of other plant material. Fragmentary remains of Diptera larvae were found in some specimens (Ref. 558). | |||
