Family:  Balitoridae (River loaches)
Max. size:  4 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Mekong basin, Malay Peninsula and Borneo.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal and lateral blotches faint with a slightly darker mid-lateral stripe; pectoral fins extending past-pelvic-fin base (Ref. 12693).
Biology:  Found in moderate currents with living and dead vegetation. May move into seasonally flooded areas with moderate currents. Probably feeds on small aquatic insects and zooplankton. Not fished commercially (Ref. 12693).
