Max. size:  13.88 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; freshwater; depth range 1 - 2 m
Distribution:  South America: Brazil.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  It is found in rivers stretching 20 meters with depth of 1 to 2 meters. It has low currents, with sandy and clay substrates. River margins have arboreal-shrub vegetation, like of a Cerrado biome. The largest specimen observed is 13.88 cm, standard length (Ref. 128916).
