Environment:  demersal; freshwater
Distribution:  Asia: Kalabakan and Segama river drainages in Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7; Anal soft rays: 14-15; Vertebrae: 39-40
Biology:  Found in forested hillstreams consisting of both pool and riffle habitats (Ref. 57084). The riffle habitats have substrate consisted of sand, gravel and rocks while the pools have fine silt and dead leaves (Ref. 57084).
