Family:  Gobiesocidae (Clingfishes and singleslits), subfamily: Lepadogastrinae
Max. size:  8.694 cm TL (male/unsexed); 6.608 cm TL (female)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 1 - 5 m
Distribution:  Eastern Atlantic: British Isles to the Canary Islands including western Mediterranean and the Black Sea.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  Occurs in the lower intertidal zone with the algae Himanthalia and Laminaria (Ref. 4489). In one study, specimens were observed between from 0.7- to 5.3-m depths, mostly (75%) in the depth range from 1.8 to 3.3 m (Ref. 138341).
