| Diagnosis: | Dorsal spines (total): 0-0; Dorsal soft rays (total): 37-40; Anal spines: 0-0; Anal soft rays: 30-34. Caudal narrow and rounded. Pectorals with a rounded upper part and the lowest rays lengthened to form a notch. | |||
| Biology: | Inhabits subtidal to 225 meters (Ref. 51661). Feeds on crustaceans (Ref. 4925). | |||
