Family:  Grammatidae (Basslets)
Max. size:  2.83 cm SL (male/unsexed)
Environment:  demersal; marine; depth range 108 - 154 m
Distribution:  Caribbean: Bahamas, Bonaire, CuraƧao, Dominica, and Jamaica.
Diagnosis:   
Biology:  This species lives in or hovers above small rocky rubble on gradual slopes at depths and when approached by the submersible, it disappears into the rubble. Observed often in pairs (Ref. 113814).
IUCN Red List Status: Least Concern (LC); Date assessed: 09 October 2018 Ref. (124695)
Threat to humans:  harmless
