Distribution:  Asia: Amur basin to southern China.
Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 3-3; Dorsal soft rays (total): 7-7; Anal spines: 3-3; Anal soft rays: 26-26. With an obvious rise in the back after the head. A little down curve in the lateral line. Black gray in the back, silver white in the stomach (Ref. 33303).
Biology:  Adults inhabit rivers (Ref. 1441).
