Diagnosis: |
Dorsal soft rays (total): 8-10; Anal soft rays: 13-14; Vertebrae: 29-30. Sides of body and unpaired fins of male with transverse rows of red spots. A whitish zone along entire caudal fin margin of male. Total caudal fin rays 27-29. Caudal fin elliptical, elongate longitudinally. Body depth about 20% SL (19.3-21.9% SL) (Ref 26657). |

Not a seasonal killifish. Difficult to maintain in aquarium (Ref. 27139). |
