| Diagnosis: | This species, a member of the Oryzias woworae species group, is distinguished by the following: live males with a bluish sheen on the body; differs from other species of the Oryzias woworae species group the following characters: transverse scales 8; head length 26.6%-27.7% of SL in males, 28.0%-28.9% SL in females; body depth at anal-fin origin 24.3%-28.2% SL in males, 23.5%-24.0% SL in females; rare or no pigmentation along the ventral and dorsal margins of caudal fin of males after preservation (Ref. 133091). | |||
